To complete your asset inventory with Fairson Inventory, the first phase consists of an analysis of the existing accounting file by the Fairson Inventory project manager: label accuracy, invoice number, location… The Fairson Inventory project manager also checks if a matching key exists between the computer file and the physical assets. We then agree on the value threshold at which an asset is sought and the characteristics to be displayed for each asset. For the inventory process itself, Fairson Inventory can use or provide your own labels.
In this case, they can be standard (labels with barcodes), NFC (reading nearby with a smartphone) or RFID (reading remotely with a dedicated device).
This depends on your budget, your needs and the follow-up procedure that is deployed afterwards. Labels are customisable: choice of media, size and content. A labelling charter is, of course, fixed upstream. Significant values are then searched physically. An asset number and a data sheet are assigned to each asset and a gateway is created with the accounting file.
Depending on the wording accuracy, the Fairson Inventory Project Lead will be able to request access to invoices in order to refine their search.
In addition to your ERP and to facilitate the day-to-day management of your assets, Fairson Inventory has developed a web platform that allows you to simply update your assets. Users of this platform can view or modify the data, depending on the rights assigned to them.
