A constant focus on reducing discrepancies and ensuring the reliability of inventory data.
Operational productivity
Performance measured without compromising quality.
Consistency over time
The ability to maintain a high level of execution from one inventory project to the next.
Overall reliability
A comprehensive assessment of operational performance across all assignments.
What it means for you
A competitive culture that raises overall performance
The Top Gun Challenge creates a strong internal dynamic: teams do more than simply complete inventory projects, they continuously strive to improve, progress and outperform themselves. This structured competitive approach helps to:
- Increase individual performance standards.
- Drive collective performance to a higher level.
- Recognise and reward the most rigorous and reliable professionals.
- Build a lasting culture of operational excellence in the field.
From challenge to champion
A structured journey to identify the top performers
The Top Gun Challenge is part of a continuous programme that runs over several months. Its objective is to identify, assess and develop the highest-performing inventory specialists across the Fairson network. This journey is built around a series of key stages, from real-world performance assessments in the field to the European and international finals.
Field phase: assessing performance in real conditions
Each inventory specialist is assessed directly during live inventory projects. There are no simulations and no artificial scenarios: performance is measured in the field, under real operating conditions and within actual client environments.
This approach makes it possible to identify professionals who can consistently maintain high standards in the day-to-day reality of inventory operations.
Selection phase: identifying the top talent
The highest-performing inventory specialists are selected based on their field results.
These professionals can then join Fairson’s most demanding development programmes, such as the Talent Factory, allowing them to continue improving their skills and strengthening their expertise.
European final: bringing together the network’s elite
Each year, the best inventory specialists from across the network compete in a European final bringing together participants from several countries.
This event recognises the most reliable, consistent and high-performing professionals. It highlights individuals who are able to make a real difference on the most demanding inventory projects.
Global final: representing Fairson on the international stage
The winner of the Top Gun Challenge represents Fairson in an international final organised in partnership with WIS International, the global leader in inventory services.
This competition positions Fairson’s teams among the highest industry standards and demonstrates their ability to perform at the very highest level.
